There has been alot of talk about Michael Jackson this week.

First, this Sundays telecast of the 52nd Grammy Awards on CBS will include a special tribute to the King of Pop featuring a portion that will be broadcast in 3-D. I had a nice chat w Grammy Executive Producer Ken Erhlich about the ceremony.

Second, the release of, “This Is It” on DVD. If you haven’t seen it yet and you’re a fan of music, that is your homework for the weekend!

I had the opportunity to chill with Orianthi, who is featured in, “This Is It”. She was supposed to shred on the guit box alongside Michael on tour. Instead she has released her own album, “Believe” and is talking about her experience with Michael.

Third, June 25th 2009. Where were you when you heard the news about Michael? I was covering opening ceremonies at Summerfest, the world’s largest music festival and caught up with some headliners to see what they had to say about Michael’s career.

Lastly, when I went on my trip to Los Angeles in late 2009 I ran into Michael Jackson impersonator Jovan Rameau. He told me was was working on a documentary about being Michael Jackson impersonator. I haven’t heard anything yet. We’ll see!

Search the internet for Lady Gaga remix and you are sure to find thousands of people trying to sing  “Poker Face” or “Just Dance.”  But this guy tops every single one of them.   I predict right now that this song will be hit on the radio or he will get his own deal out of this.  Sam Tsui you’re a SUPER STAR!

Viewers can log on to www.cbs.com and vote for one of three favorite Bon Jovi songs—”Always,” “It’s My Life,” “Livin’ on a Prayer”—to decide which hit the band will perform as part of their segment. Fans selected the three songs during the first phase of voting which ended Sunday, Jan. 24. The second and final phase of voting will continue until Bon Jovi’s performance on THE 52nd ANNUAL GRAMMY AWARDS on Jan. 31. There is no registration to vote and fans may vote as often as they wish. Additionally, a 30-second clip of each song may also be viewed on the Web site.

GRAMMY winners Celine Dion, Jennifer Hudson, Smokey Robinson, Carrie Underwood and Usher will join together, along with the voice of Michael Jackson, in a moving tribute to Jackson. The tribute will feature the never-before-seen 3-D mini-movie for “Earth Song” that Jackson created as the centerpiece of his much anticipated “This Is It” tour. So that viewers at home can enjoy the unique 3-D portion of the tribute, CBS and Target have partnered to provide millions of free 3-D GRAMMY Glasses. Target stores nationwide will exclusively offer the glasses through Sunday, Jan. 31, so that fans have the opportunity to see the film that was very personal to Jackson. Additionally, the audience at STAPLES Center will share the 3-D experience, wearing the same glasses as those worn by viewers at home.

Nine-time GRAMMY winner Mary J. Blige and world-renowned pop tenor Andrea Bocelli will perform the Simon & Garfunkel classic, “Bridge over Troubled Water,” together in a special fundraising segment for Haiti relief. Their once-in-a-lifetime performance (audio and video) will be made available for download at iTunes.com following the telecast with all proceeds benefiting the American Red Cross’ ongoing earthquake relief efforts in Haiti. This year marks the 40th anniversary of “Bridge over Troubled Water” receiving GRAMMY Awards for Record of the Year, Album of the Year, and Song of the Year; the song will provide a moving tribute to survivors of the tragic events in Haiti.

SHE KICKED HIM OUT! Wouldn’t you? Creepy Mc Creeperson (John Edwards) and wife Elizabeth Edwards have called it quits.

From ABC News:

“a source close to Elizabeth Edwards told ABC News that she and John are now legally separated. Under North Carolina law they can’t get divorced until at least a year later. John Edwards is no longer living at their home in Chapel Hill, ABC News has learned.”

Do you “stand by your man” or do you move on? I have friend who works for FOX NEWS down in North Carolina and says their house (estate) is beautiful. Good luck Elizabeth and stay healthy!
