So we’ve found a duplex in the Bay View area that we like, we made an offer and it’s been accepted!!!!

I can’t believe that my husband Aaron and I are one step closer to being homeowners.  Like most couples, this has been a dream for us for so many years!

The next step is having the inspector come to the property and tell us what we’re dealing with when it comes to updates and repairs…or in other words, how much do we have to spend NOW vs later.

And is it normal to be so nervous about signing off on the mortgage?!  I may faint or throw up.

I grabbed some fresh flowers this week, I think they were 3 bundles for $9.99. How could you pass that down? For $10 bucks I have had a “fresh” spring-like smell in my condo (different from the not so “fresh” winter smell.) It has brought a little life into the place during a time when lots of things are gray and dead. I am really enjoying them!
