In short order, the 28-year-old singer, songwriter, and musician won the seventh season of America’s most popular television show, American Idol, rewrote chart history with a record-breaking 14 debuts on Billboard’s Digital Songs chart, released his self-titled major-label debut album in November 2008, watched it debut at No. 3 on the Billboard album chart, spawn two Top 20 singles (the platinum “Light On” and “Come Back To Me”), and sell more than a million copies, reaching platinum status.

David Cook is set to rock the Turner Hall Ballroom on Monday, November 21st.

Ok, so you’re bumming like I am that the Brewers didn’t make the World Series.

BUT, there are still so many things to say about this season:

They won their division
We had record breaking crowds at Miller Park
The racing sausages are still awesome
We made the Cardinals fans scared – even if it was just for a little while

Keep your head up Brewers – it was a fun season!

Going to the Green Bay Packers game this Sunday? Get there early!

In preparation for Sunday’s game vs. the St. Louis Rams, the Green Bay Packers today reminded fans coming to the game to plan ahead for enhanced screening that will take place and allow extra time for entry into the stadium.

The Packers and Green Bay Police Department will continue to use hand-held metal-detecting wands to conduct the enhanced screening mandated by the NFL. Additional screening lines and screening officers, as well as a streamlined screening process will be in place for the game.

Stadium gates open two hours prior to kickoff (10 a.m. this Sunday). To expedite the screening process, fans are encouraged to:

-Enter the stadium earlier than they have in the past,

-Use the stadium gate indicated on their ticket, and

-Bring no or a minimal amount of items into the stadium (small purses, etc.) to minimize wait time.
