Bon Jovi did a three-song set. “We Weren’t Born To Follow” and then “Who Says You Can’t Go Home” with Sugarland’s Jennifer Nettles. Bon Jovi closed with “Living On A Prayer” which was the song fans chose via a call-in poll.

He performed that song for WMYX in 2002. Enjoy!

The Michael Jackson tribute was touching and nauseating at the same time, especially if you didn’t have the 3-D glasses from Target! Celine Dion, Jennifer Hudson, Smokey Robinson, Carrie Underwood and Usher all sang along with Michael on his “Earth Song.” And, seeing Michael’s kids Prince Michael and Paris on stage was a great moment. They both look like Michael too.

Smokey Robinson says proud to participate in the Michael Jackson tribute performance.

Smokey Robinson was asked if young acts are as charitable as ever.

Kings of Leon were as shocked as anyone to win Best Record of the Year over the much favored women in that starry category. But they seem to have gotten with the program anyway “We’re all wearing panty hose,” said Nathan Followill. “So it is a ladies’ night after all.”

Colbie Caillat is someone who won’t ever forget this weekend. By taking home Grammy gold, she follows in her father’s footsteps. (Ken Caillat won a Grammy for co-producing a Fleetwood Mac album in 1977.) Caillat and Jason Mraz’s recording of “Lucky” won for best pop collaboration with vocals.

Beyoncé made Grammy history last night. She won six awards, which is more in one night than any other female artist in the 52-year history of the Grammys. Taylor Swift took home four, including Album of the Year. She also makes history by being the youngest artist to win in that category. Taylor just turned 20 in December. And, Kings Of Leon won three, including Record of the Year for “Use Somebody.” As usual, more awards were given out before the live telecast, than on the actual show. That gave plenty of time for performances, and there were many.

In my opinion, Pink’s performance of “Glitter in the Air” at the 2010 Grammys was a little much.

Personally, I didn’t get it – and I even started laughing when she was dipped in water and raised above the crowd getting all the stars dressed in million dollar outfits wet.

I understand, there’s a need to be artistic and “wow” the crowd, but this did nothing for me except make me laugh.  I laughed even harded when I read a review that called it “sexy”.
