I thought it would be cute to start sending my husband Aaron some sassy text messages yesterday.  It didn’t take him long to figure out what I was doing and sure enough he began to text back.

One thing led to another and I decided to show up to his work and tease him over the intercom (he works part time at a coffee house with a drive through).

He answered the drive through page and while laughing I asked him if “he was an item on the menu that I could order” – I had no idea that all 6 of his co-workers were also on head sets and heard the same thing!!!!

Needless to say I was mortified, grabbed my drink and left.  Aaron mentioned later that night he would be teased about this for weeks – he did think it was pretty funny.

Glamour magazing put together a list of advice women wish they knew about dating when they were 21.

We asked our listeners to add their advice and here’s some of the comments:

1. Don’t wait around for him to call
2. Don’t rush it
3. Have fun, don’t take it too seriously
4. If he’s too good to be true – he’s probably gay
5. Follow your gut, not your heart
6. Be smart, stick to your morals and don’t settle
7. You’re worth it
8. Don’t stay with someone because you have been with them for years
9. You can never change a man, if there’s red flags RUN
