Madonna DOES have a sense of humor!
Posted in: TV
Is it just me, or does it seem like Madonna has lost her sense of humor over the past decade or so? Between Kaballah, overly-strict rules for her kids (like no TV), and some weird dating practices, she seems to have done a 180 from her previous party girl self.
Lucky for you, Madonna fans, she DOES have a sense of humor for Thursday night’s episode of “The Marriage Ref,” airing at 9 p.m. on TMJ4. Here’s a preview:

House – Sneak Peek.
Posted in: TV, Van McNeil
Tune in to “Private Lives,” the next all-new episode of HOUSE airing Monday, March 8 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. In the episode, House (Hugh Laurie) and the team take on the case of an avid blogger (guest star Laura Prepon, “That ‘70s Show”) admitted with sudden bruising and bleeding. From her hospital bed, the patient blogs about her symptoms, doctors and prospective diagnoses to her dedicated band of followers and solicits their advice on a course of treatment. Such openness leads the team to contemplate the value of privacy, especially after House and Wilson (Robert Sean Leonard) uncover secrets from one another’s past.

“How I Met Your Mother,” Mondays at 7 on CBS, has been one of my FAVORITE shows since it debuted five years ago, and regardless of tonight’s storyline, I’m gonna give this a “LIKE” on Facebook…the oh-so gorgeous CARRIE UNDERWOOD guest stars as Ted’s girlfriend.
If you’ve followed the show at all, you know that Ted is the one telling his kids–in the year 2030–the story of how he met their mother in the present time. A lot of die-hards (like myself) think it’s about time the writers revealed the mother…so their COULD be a chance Carrie would be back for more than one appearance. Keyword: COULD. (So far, CBS only has her for one episode.)
Here’s a sneak peek of Carrie on tonight’s show click here! (And don’t worry, anarchy will not ensue for pressing play.)

What I learned…
Posted in: Kidd O'Shea, TV

I just spent the past five days being sick and stuck on my couch, and here are some things I learned:
1) After watching a “Keeping up with the Kardashian’s” marathon, I realized I have more in common with Kim, Kourtney and Khloe than I had thought. They’re crazy and obsessed with how they look, just like me. Kidd Kardashian?
2) The lady on QVC between 7p-10p wears way too much self tanner.
3) The Food Network never shows the mess you have to clean up after making your “10 Minute Meals.” Add an additional 20 minutes.
4) My24 should be called “The Two and Half Men Network” featuring “That 70’s Show.”
5) I finally found something more dramatic than me, figure skating.
It’s amazing the things you learn while stuck on the couch for five days with a box of Kleenex, hot tea, and a remote control.

We sometimes forget than Tom Bergeron has ANOTHER job beyond “Dancing With The Stars” — he still hosts the show that made guys getting hit in the crotch famous: America’s Funniest Home Videos! And Sunday night, the show celebrates its 20th anniversary with a ton of fun clips, including a tribute to our fair state!
Watch for a family from New Berlin, and another from East Troy on tomorrow night’s show at 6 on Channel 12.
(And please, let’s hope no one gets hit in the crotch.)

My Amazing Race
Posted in: Kidd O'Shea, TV

So I was sitting at home at 8:15PM watching the Olympics when I went to check the status of my delayed flight to LA and what once read 12:39 AM (next day) was now reading 8:55PM… I grabbed 3 shirts (still have no idea which ones) and threw them in a bag and ran, got in the car, drove 55 (60 in some areas), parked in the short term lot ($13 a day), ran some more (almost fainted from running so fast) and quickly got through security (thankfully no one with 4 bags of 8oz liquids was infront of me.) Long story short, I made it to the gate at 8:45PM and I am typing from the air… After tonight I think I should be on the “Amazing Race.” I can’t believe I made it!
