Kidd and Elizabeth took a spin on the rent-a-scooters at the WI State Fair

Who buys these things at the fair?  I have hard time believing the seller would keep coming back each year if someone wasn’t buying them.  But where does something this pretty go?  End table, center piece in the dining room?

The list is out again from onmilwaukee.com “100 Hottest Milwaukeans”.

Here are some of the people who made the list:

  1. Shelby Croft, WISN Ch. 12
  2. Danny Gokey, national recording artist
  3. Brandon Jennings, Bucks basketball player
  4. Erin Lobdell, “Survivor” contestant
  5. Me (not sure why, but totally flattered nonetheless)

So what do you find “hot” in a person? For me, it’s all about how someone carries themselves. Confidence (NOT arrogance) and a great sense of humor are very attractive qualities in a person (nice teeth and smile help too).

Check out the full list here.

Last week I was covering the new sea lion pup Sequoia who is 3 months old and getting to know her way around her giant new home at the Milwaukee County Zo0.  If you have seen the show before, it is worth going back to see the new pup when she is still young.   Your heart will melt when you see her interact with the other sea lions as she learns to build confidence and trust. Thanks to Shelley and her great team at Oceans of Fun.

Shows are offered to Milwaukee County Zoo visitors through most of the year. Shows are seasonal and weather dependent.

For show schedule, please call 414-771-3040.

Cost: $2.00 per person (under age 2 free of charge)
Tickets may be purchased outside of the Oceans of Fun Theatre

Schedule: 10:30, Noon, 1:30, 3:00 daily

WATCH: Check out what the new pup did on LIVE TV
