OK, the car that I drive has a few dents and rust spots and sometimes the A/C can cut out, but check out what Lexus of Brookfield dropped off at the radio station this week!  It’s the new IS 350.

Despite my poor driving record, they’re even going to let me take a spin with  the top down! All you have to do is push a button and in twenty seconds you’re cruising around in a convertible.

The inside is gorgeous, white leather interior with dark gray bird’s-eye maple wood trim with navigation, bluetooth capabilities and an adapter for your iPod or Iphone (and that’s just to name a few of the car’s luxuries).

If you ever dreamed about owning a Lexus now is the BEST time to make that dream a reality. That’s because this weekend is the Lexus Golden Opportunity Sales Event that ends September 7 at Lexus of Brookfield. Check out all of the models at Lexus of Brookfield on the corner of Bluemound and Barker Road.

And if you mention you’re a Mix listener you will receive two years, 24,000 miles worth of scheduled maintenance for FREE with the purcase of a new car.

See you on the road!

The Texas State Fair introduced this new treat to this year’s State Fair, deep-fried beer.

If you want to make it yourself, here’s the recipe:

  1. Make little ravioli pockets of a “pretzel-like” dough.
  2. Fill with beer.
  3. Deep fry for about 20 seconds.
  4. Marvel at the world, that such a thing as deep-fried beer exists.

Maybe we’ll see this at next year’s Wisconsin State Fair.

No traffic jam can compare to what’s happening in China.

These cars have been backed up since the second week of August! It’s over 62 miles long. The reason for the backup is because of construction.

People have started selling water and food on the highway and the drivers have to hop over the fence to go to a bathroom in a field.

They are predicting that this will last for another three weeks!

Unbelievable, we can put people on the moon and we can’t figure out construction.
