There could be a few reasons I love Christmas parades.
Maybe it’s because Shorewood was too small to have its own parade when I was growing up there. Maybe it’s because I like torturing myself driving in a convertible when it’s 30 degrees out. Maybe it’s because my diet from here through December 25th consists of 50 percent real food and 50 percent candy canes. Regardless, I’m pumped to kick off the Christmas parade season in West Allis tomorrow night!
The parade runs straight down Greenfield Avenue from 84th to 66th Street. Need a visual? Voila!

We’ll see you there tomorrow night…and I promise…I won’t eat all the candy canes before you get there. (Not ALL of them
