I had a chance to chat w/ some of the Top 10 American Idols at Summerfest. Milwaukee, WI was the second stop in a three month long tour. Siobhan Magnus shares the stories behind her tattoos. Andrew Garcia reveals his plans for after the tour, Katie Stevens gushes over the Green Bay Packers, Michael Lynche & winner Lee Dewyze get into an arguement mid-interview.  All in all, a great time was had by everyone. Plus, if you plan on auditioning for Season 10, they all have really good advice on how to handle the monster that is American Idol. Enjoy the interviews!

Day 8 of The World’s Largest Music Festival brings difficult decisions. So many great acts to town in town tonight. I wish they would allow Rollerblades or Segways on the Summerfest grounds so I can see all of them. Here are my picks tonight.

Santana headlines Marcus Amphitheatre w Steve Winwood opening at 7:30.

10p - Miller Lite Oasis you’ve got O.A.R. If they guarantee a performance of, Led Zepplin’s “Fool In The Rain” I’m there. We’ll see.

Here is where it get’s tricky for me. Take my chances w O.A.R. or check out the B52’s at the M&I Stage at 10p and get my Rock Lobster on? Ahhhh!

Oh yeah, can’t forget The Offspring. They rock the Harley-Davidson Roadhouse at 10p. Gotta keep’em seperated!

Choose wisely, be safe and have fun. Happy Summerfest ya’ll!

The date was April 7th, 2010. Before opening for Daughtry at U.S. Cellular Arena that evening, Cavo stopped by to preview their debut album, “Bright Nights, Dark Days” which is in stores and available for download. Cavo performed 4 songs for us that day and joined us for lunch. A great group of guys from St. Louis who can rock it. Good stuff!

There was an unexpected surprise at the 2010 Summerfest Opening Ceremony, Thursday at the Harley-Davidson Roadhouse.

As President and CEO Don Smiley was at the podium speaking to the crowd, out came Windell Middlebrooks, the Miller High-Life delivery guy from the TV commericals. He had a hand truck full of Miller High Life, which was passed out to the crowd for a Summerfest toast.

Thanks for the free beer Windell.

What a way to kick off the 43rd edition of Summerfest!

Take a look at the Opening Ceremony below!
